Solution:

1) If the Windows 3.1 driver includes an installation program:

a) Insert the diskette or CD-ROM that contains the driver installation program in the correct drive.
b) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu and select 'Run...'. (The 'Run' dialog box appears.)
c) Type the full path and filename of the installation program in the 'Open' drop-down list box.
EXAMPLE: If the installation program is contained on a diskette in the 'A:' floppy drive, and is called Setup.exe, type the following in the 'Open' box:
A:\SETUP
d) Click 'OK'.
e) Follow the on-screen instructions given by the installation program to install the Windows 3.1x driver.
f) Shut down and restart Windows 95.

2) If the Windows 3.1 driver does NOT have an installation program:

a) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
c) Double-click the 'Add New Hardware' icon. (The 'Add New Hardware Wizard' dialog box appears.)
d) Click 'Next'.
e) Select the 'No' radio button.
f) Click 'Next'.
g) Select the device type for which to install a Windows 3.1 driver from the 'Hardware types' list box.
h) Click 'Next'.
i) Click 'Have Disk...'. (The 'Install From Disk' dialog box appears.)
j) Do one of the following:

1] If the Windows 3.1 driver is on a diskette or CD-ROM and the path and filename are known:

a] Insert the diskette that contains the Windows 3.1 driver in the floppy drive.
b] Type the full path and filename in the 'Copy manufacturer's files from' drop-down list box.
c] Click 'OK'.

2] If the Windows 3.1 driver is on a diskette or CD-ROM and the path and filename are not known:

a] Click 'Browse...'. (The 'Open' dialog box appears.)
b] Select the drive and folder from the 'Folders' list box.
c] Select the driver filename from the 'File name' list box.
d] Click 'OK'.

k) Click 'OK'. (Windows 95 finds and installs the Windows 3.1 driver from the diskette or directory.)
l) Shut down and restart Windows 95.
